For nine years, the Penn ar Jazz association has organised les Luisances sonores in Brest, musical encounters based on improvised music.
They explore the perpetual re-invention of music, choosing paths far from the more- traveled ones, without calculating, outside all aesthetic or commercial constraints -- and then choose several of these propositions in order to create a sweeping sonic landscape without identity.
This collective of musicians- poets- improvisers, “Luisanciers” are brought together by the association Penn ar Jazz, offering acoustic dreams, unexpected musical breathing sequences, experiences that are free, solo or collective.
